This weekend has seen the Blue Fizz Events Team set-up, co-ordinate and style, three fabulous events all upon the same weekend at the beginning of July 2016! Two simply stunning weddings in Somerset and a Joint Festival Inspired Birthday Celebration in Devon.

THE BRIEF
We were lucky enough to have been involved with this couples’ wedding plans for their wedding at the beginning of July 2016.
Blue Fizz were tasked with the detailed pre-planning 4 weeks before the big day, supplier recommendations along with venue styling, ‘on-the-day’ co-ordination and the breakdown of the wedding the following day.
THE WEDDING
This 3 day celebration was held at Liv’s parents stunning family home – an exquisite national stud in the heart of Somerset. With many family and friends travelling from afar, it was only right to make it an entire weekend of celebration !
On Thursday the family invited many of their friends to a BBQ at the family home, a chance to catch up and relax before the big day!
On Friday preparations at the house and within the marquee were coming together. Once the evening drew in the bridal party & family then went over to a local restaurant The Roth Bar & Grill to enjoy their rehearsal dinner.
On the morning of the wedding final preparations were underway. Bridget from Blue Fizz styled the beautiful blooms and foliage at the church, table settings in the marquee, flowers & herbs were positioned, arrival cocktails were being created & dinner was being prepared… all ready to await the Bride & Groom’s arrival!
Without having to worry about setting up the venue, dealing with suppliers and keeping an eye on that jaw-dropping cheese & wedding cake – all the couple had to worry about was saying ‘I Do’. The ceremony was held at the beautiful church of St. Peter, Shepton Montague.
STYLING
The wedding breakfast was held in a Traditional Marquee from Affordable Marquees complete with beautiful rustic feasting tables from Abbas Marquees, styled with small oil lights, aromatic herbs, lavender and beautiful cream flowers arranged in simple terracotta pots and silver tubs.
This well travelled couple took inspiration from memorable restaurants they had visited across the globe for table names. Including one restaurant in particular where Lawrence had asked Liv to marry him!
When the evening rolled in the bar’s signature cocktails were flowing, the fire pits were lit – all ready for marshmallow toasting and the band The Sierras started to play, ready for guests to party the night away!!
On the day after the wedding, the team from Blue Fizz were there to lend a hand with the breakdown of the event.

Wedding Set up & On-the-day Co-ordination
THE BRIEF
A Country Chic, 3 Day Wedding Celebration with 250 guests set upon a hill in the heart of Exmoor.
We were super excited to be involved within this fabulous 3 day wedding celebration for Emma & Dan. Emma , owner of Brompton Bud Florists, created the most stunning style for her very own Country Chic wedding, set in beautiful farmland in Somerset. After an initial consultation 4 weeks prior to the wedding Blue Fizz lent a hand with the detailed pre-wedding planning, liaising with suppliers whilst creating the running timeline for the weekend. As you might have imagined, this wedding was bursting with style and oozed charm and sophistication!
THE WEDDING
Day 1
The Blue Fizz Team assisted with setting up the wedding breakfast within the Funky Tents Marquees for 250 wedding guests. With an abundance of exquisite floral centre piece displays, divine flowers and foliage laid across beautiful archways and ladders, potted trees and dramatic installations, this wedding really was a visual feast. Complete with led lighted paper lanterns, bars and chill out areas, candles and tea lights – the ambient mood was prepared for the next day’s celebrations.
The fabulous catering team from The Brewery Tap had laid on an a 3 course candlelit meal for 60 of the couples friends & family in the barn – a chance to relax and catch up with their family.
Day 2
Overnight the farm’s very own beef had been slowly cooking upon an Argentinian style Barbecue style setup ready for the buffet style wedding breakfast feast. Final preparations and finishing touches were then put in place ready for the arrival of the Bride & Grooms arrival. With Transport being provided by tractor shuttles for the bridal party and guests, this wedding was every bit the ultimate Country Chic Wedding. Even team Blue Fizz had their very own buggy for the day to whizz around on!
Day 3
After a fantastic night of partying and feasting the Bride & Groom had then invited their family and friends over for even more celebrations and story telling! But this time, divine wood fired Pizza’s were on the menu from The Scarlet Garden. We simply adored being part of Emma and Dan’s extraordinary Wedding Day!

THE BRIEF
A fusion of local Devonshire produce and international cuisine for a festival style experience joint birthday celebration!
Blue Fizz Events assisted in pre-event planning and supplier sourcing, we were super excited to be involved in such a special event celebrating the iconic birthdays of 3 of their family member a 21st, 50th and 70th.
THE STYLING
A festival style glamping experience at the family home, complete with two marquees, one for the bar and one for the feasting & outdoor area for partying!
Festival flags and tyres filled with flowers lined the entrance to the festival party, homemade bunting, pompoms and festoon lighting were then suspended within the marquee, white jugs and glass bottles were filled with beautiful flowers then magnificent fire pits also positioned outside in the garden with picnic benches laden with delicious food!
THE FOOD
Guests were greeted to pimms on arrival with delicious festival style food to graze on throughout the day! From Hog Roasts to Curries and Salads to Brownies, Mini Cheesecakes to Fruit kebabs and local Cheeses… it was a fabulous festival inspired grazing feast!
