COOL CONTEMPORARY ELEGANCE INSPIRATION FOR THE MODERN BRIDE

We spent a warm mid Summer’s day falling in love with Pynes House and set about creating sumptuous wedding inspiration for brides to be. Our hand picked dream team of wedding professionals allowed us deliver a beautifully intoxicating styled shoot……..here is our story.
Historic Pynes House, located just outside of Exeter is one of our favourite wedding venues in Devon. A quintessentially English gem this exquisite Country House set in 37 acres of parkland was the perfect backdrop for our historically influenced shoot.
THE COOL CONTEMPORARY BRIDE
A sleek and embellished stunning gown was the inspiration behind this contemporary cool look set in the exquisite grounds of Pynes House. A sublime juxtaposition of modern and traditional. The dress was designed and created by Lily and Louie, teamed with the clean lines of the headdress designed by Blue Fizz Events.
Our stunning brides hair was expertly crafted by Gerschwins Hair – delivering an effortless look to this chic theme.
The makeup was natural and barely there with a heavy eye for impact, perfectly achieved by Genevieve Satha Make Up Artist.
THE TABLE SCAPE
We selected a wedgwood blue to compliment the scheme, subtly picked out in the handmade napkin rings set against a minimal table setting with divine floral arrangements, including lashings of grey green eucalyptus and standout blooms all arranged by Emma Hewlett Flowers.
The cake was supplied by Cherry Blossom Cakes and dressed in a tumble of handpicked lavender all perfect in our gently cool style for this wedding inspiration.
Keeping it simple is sometimes the key, no fuss no frills but with carefully selected standout elements this look is over all a strong one with a timeless feel.
Go for volumes of natural foliage, candlelight, crisp white napkins and champagne all these elements cant fail to work in any setting but alongside the features and palette of Pynes house it all came together to add a bit of drama to the whole look !
Our concept was captured by the very talented Natalie at Mckenzie Brown Photography through the eye of the lens to bring these stunning images to life !
