We know it can be a little difficult when deciding what to wear to any event – especially a brand new feasting & partying experience at the Funky Soul Friday, charity event right by the beach! So the team at Blue Fizz Events have put together a little Style Edit for all you lovely ladies & gents attending our exciting event.
>> INSPIRATION
Initially when planning this event we took inspiration from a 70s inspired shoot at Combas Farm, thanks to the entire shoot team we were able to capture some truly inspiring images!

>> LADIES
Getting ready to party! We all love to get dressed up – and this event provides the perfect opportunity. When we think of 70s Funk and Soul, we love the idea of iconic 70s eye makeup, clean lines, wide leg jumpsuits, funky shoes or sandals, wavy hair, floaty dresses, round sunnies and flower crowns…
We know the great British weather can occasionally throw out some crazy days – with this in mind, we would advise bringing a jacket, wrap or something cozy to keep you warm in the evening. You could even Rock the Festival Look with a pair of welly’s and a brolly – just in case!

When we think of Bohemian inspired gent’s outfits, we love the idea of keeping it simple – a relaxed style, casual but smart.
We would also advise bringing a jacket or something cozy to keep you warm – don’t forget the brolley if it looks like it could rain!

TRAVELLING TO & FROM THE BAREFOOT BALL
>> VENUE ADDRESS
Downend Field, Croyde, EX33 1QE
It is easy to get to our venue as it is situated on the main road into Croyde, parking is located at Downend Carpark to the right, just after the turning to the event field.
>> PARKING
Evening & overnight parking is available in the Downend Car Park, which is located just opposite our event.
Additional Parking is also be available in the village centre by the village hall.
There is no parking available in the Downend Field.
>> TAXI
We would certainly advise pre – booking your Taxi’s – to and from our event. Here is a list of a few local numbers…

We are sorry but we can only accept cash at each of our bars across the weekend, it may be worth popping into town on your way to the event, as there is not a cash point nearby.
